Government Naveen Girls' College Balrampur was established in 2021  and is affiliated to Sant Gahira Guru Uniersity Sarguja, Ambikapur, Chhattisgarh, at the initiative of a few social thinkers and visionaries of women empowerment, GNGC has been striving hard to extend quality education to the girl students of densely populated, under privileged ST,SC and OBC concentrated area around the college campus. It was the vision of the founders to ensure the sustainable development of women by providing them opportunities of education. From 2021 onwards the college is making rigorous efforts and is successfully progressing.

Our journey is not about teaching the curriculum; rather it is about holistic development of students. The young generation has to be provided with the knowledge and skill to face the fast-changing modern world. There is need to be well equipped and have confidence to make the right choices and judgements that will help them to have lasting impact on their individual lives, society and nation. For this, we have a teem of accomplished and distinguished faculty members who take active part in the overall grooming of the students. The college is maintaining an ambience of co-operation and teamwork  amidst management, faculty members, students, alumni, university authorities and other stakeholders of the college focuses on the skill development of young learners to fill the skill gap an make the students employable and self reliant.
